Back in 2000, I joined Luxury Retreats, a scrappy startup consisting of 3 team members and less than 100K in revenues.
Over the course of the following 16 years, I ran the Marketing & Sales teams, an acquisition in Buenos Aires and helped grow the business to over $125M in ARR. The company was acquired by Airbnb in 2017.
Following a number of consulting gigs that took me from Montreal to California, I saw a clear gap between marketing agencies and the traditional consulting firms. What was missing was the notion of performance, agility and urgency in delivering results. It wasn’t just a function of marketing, it was the general gap in partnering to achieve goals.
I reached out to Caren Carrasco, an absolute force of nature whom I had worked with at Luxury Retreats, and Caren agreed to join me in July 2016 - in building a vehicle that could drive real change and shift the way that businesses of all sizes receive growth support.
